April 20th 2026 Hamilton Community Schools is proud to recognize four outstanding student-athletes who have earned Hoosier Plains Conference Academic All-Conference honors for the 2025-26 winter basketball season. These student-athletes exemplify what it means to succeed both in the classroom and in competition, representing the Hamilton Marines with excellence, dedication, and leadership. Representing the boys basketball program, juniors Braden Buck and Copper Farnham were honored for their commitment to academic achievement while competing at the varsity level. Their ability to balance rigorous coursework with the demands of a competitive basketball season highlights their strong work ethic and focus on long-term success. From the girls basketball program, seniors Marissa Mercer and Tristen Creager earned Academic All-Conference recognition in their final season as Hamilton Marines. Both seniors have played key roles in helping continue to build a strong culture within the girls program while maintaining impressive academic performance throughout their high school careers. To qualify for Hoosier Plains Academic All-Conference, student-athletes must: Be a junior or senior Be listed on the IHSAA sectional roster Maintain a cumulative GPA of 3.5 or higher These four student-athletes have demonstrated the discipline, commitment, and character that define Hamilton Athletics. Their accomplishments reflect the importance our programs place on academic excellence and personal growth alongside athletic success.
