August 13th 2025 The Hamilton Lady Marines golf team opened their season in impressive fashion Tuesday night, defeating Bishop Luers 242–254 at Brookwood Golf Club in Fort Wayne. Junior Bella Rivera led the way, taking first place overall with a score of 50. Senior Haley Ellert, sophomore Karly Nester, and freshman Lilli Dager each carded a 64, helping secure the team victory. For Nester and Dager, the match marked their first-ever high school golf competition. With the season off to a strong start, the Lady Marines will look to carry their momentum into their next challenge—a Hoosier Plains Conference matchup against Trinity and Canterbury on August 23.
