Hamilton Boys Cross Country Shines at West Noble Invitational

September 20th The Hamilton Marines boys cross country team turned in another strong performance on Saturday morning, competing against a deep field at the West Noble Invitational. Facing 25 schools, the Marines impressed with an 11th place team finish, marking back-to-back standout meets for the program. Leading the charge was Robert Schiek, who crossed the line in 31st place with a time of 18:05, for his season best. He was followed closely by Lucas Taylor in 48th place (18:39) and Abbott Lingo, who secured 60th place (19:10). Rounding out Hamilton’s top five scorers were Copper Farnham in 75th place (19:33) and Larsen Dilts in 105th place (20:02). Adding depth to the lineup, Marcus Sommers finished in 119th (20:40) and Grayson Dilts in 148th (23:08). With their 11th place finish, the Marines continue to show growth and consistency as the season progresses. They’ll look to keep the momentum going when they return to action on Tuesday at North Central.
